I know you have been perched on the edge of your seat just waiting for another pattern to come out ;) ...well, today is the day! This might be my favorite quilt yet. I just think it’s the cutest dang thing, and it makes me smile when I look at it! You can get a copy here in the shop.
I have a brother who is an underwater photographer, and he has probably spent more time underwater than on the surface. He travels the world photographing pretty fish, he even spent so much time with an octopus in one of his favorite dive spots, and he taught it to play checkers! Hahaha! Anyway, this quilt is inspired by his adventures :)
The quilt is 63” x 78” making it a good size for a twin bed. You could, of course, make it smaller for a baby’s room or a wall hanging. The prairie points make cute dimensional little fins and sea kelp, and the fish can be made in any assortment of colors.
I hope you like it as much as I do, and maybe it’ll inspire some underwater adventure dreams of your own!
Happy Sunday everyone!
Krista
Oh, and one more exciting thing to mention this week! I will be on the American Patchwork and Quilting podcast tomorrow afternoon (probably talking about quilting or something, who knows ;). You can tune in for the live show Monday, May 6th at 4pm EST. I think I am the last guest of the day at 4:45. There will be a playback option if you want to catch the show later.
Follow all my quilty adventures on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Visit my website for free tutorials and tips. If you like my patterns, you can buy them on Etsy, and here on the website.
PS: I'd love you to leave a comment. Unfortunately, the new hosting software requires a login which is out of our control for the time being. (They are working on a comments section we hope will function more like the old one). For now, if you want to leave a comment, but don't want to login, you can always send an email to me at info@kristamoser.com. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
