Brand New!!

It’s here! Another reason to use your 60-Degree Diamond Mini ruler :) I hope you are ready for Spring and my latest very spring looking pattern, Vintage Windmill!

This pattern is so simple to make and looks good in almost any color combo! I have actually already taught this class a couple of times and it is a dream to make… all the seams nest effortlessly and there are no Y seams.

Here is a pic of one class’s collection of blocks. We put them all up on the design wall together just to see how they’d look and even as different as each student’s color choices were, it still looks quite impressive.

I used a fat quarter bundle of Jen Kingwell’s newest collection of fabric called Fine and Sunny for my quilt. It has vintage charm while still being clean and fresh. There are like 40 different SKUs in the collection so you can really play around with color combos.

Did you know each of my patterns is available as fabric planner/coloring sheets? You can print these off from the tutorials page and try out different color combos before you go to the fabric store!

Oh oh oh! one more thing, we made fabric SKU# sheets for most of the latest patterns (including this one!). So many of you ask about what fabrics I use for each quilt that we thought we’d start building lists for the ones we have that info on… You can find all the fabric SKU info here, and if your favorite pattern isn’t listed, I’m sorry to say we don’t have the info for that one :(

Whew, that was a lot of different announcements! I hope you like this new pattern, and if you want to give it a try, you can find both the printed and PDF copies here in the Shop :)

Happy Sunday, everyone!
