I did the math for you... again :)

A few weeks ago, I did a couple of charts for triangles and diamonds that could be cut with the Creative Grids 60-degree diamond rulers (find those charts here)… Well, those aren’t the only shapes these rulers cut, so I thought we could use some charts for the other shapes too! I didn’t do exhaustive charts for these shapes, because they would go on and on. Instead, I just focused on the sizes I thought would be used most.





The fun part is when you combine some of these shapes to make interesting blocks. For instance, if you cut one 4½” hexagon and six 4½” trapezoids (cut from the 2½” strip), you can make these “wreathed hexy” blocks using the partial seam technique I showed in this video.

And if you make a bunch of those blocks, you can turn them into rows for a cute baby quilt by adding 4½” triangles! More scrap busting ideas :)
