Gain confidence in piecing with angles (no Y seams) and fabric selection. The pieces are large and uncomplicated letting the fabric do the talking.

• ¼ yd ombre yellow for bee body

• 1/6 yd light gray for bee wings

• 1/6 yd medium gray for bee wings

• ¾ yd white for bee background and hexagon blocks

• ½ yd black for bee accents and hexagon blocks

• ½ yd dark gray solid for hexagon blocks

• ½ yd black and white plaid for hexagon blocks

• ¼ yd large gray stripe for hexagon blocks

• ¼ yd narrow gray stripe for hexagon blocks

• ½ yd binding fabric
