BIG SKY BLOOM

The Big Sky Bloom quilt is perfect for a little girls room, or as a cheerful answer to any room’s dreary decor. This pattern uses several features of the Creative Grids 60 degree Diamond ruler and has beautifully illustrated easy to follow instructions. Strip piece, then cut diamonds and triangles in different sizes to get the full effect.

REQUIREMENTS

Fabric

• 5/8 yd of (9) different sky blue fabrics or (31) 4½" strips and (4) 3½" strips of different sky blues

• 1 yd white for daisy

• 1/2 yd white with yellow for daisy petal lines

• 1/4 yd light yellow for daisy center

• 1/8 yd yellow stripe for daisy center lines

• 2/3 yd light green for leaves and stem

• 1/4 yd dark green for leaf lines

• 5/8 yd binding fabric 

• 4 yds backing fabric
